About Luxvia
I'll write a proper about section eventually, but right now I'm too busy building features that can help you.
Luxvia is a passion project for Type B travelers and first-timers who just need consolidated travel info without the noise.
Here's the thing: travel research is exhausting. Everyone's optimized for booking flights and building itineraries, but few have designed for the prep work that actually eats hours of your time. This is an alternative approach to travel blogs, long reddit posts, wikipedia, and all the other pages you were about to check.
What you should know:
- Passport based visa information is updated monthly using trusted sources. Links to official government sites are human verified so you can confirm your requirements before you travel or apply for a visa if needed.
- A lot of the initial city content is AI-assisted, but the goal is to build a sustainable loop where the community keeps information current, and increasingly human-verified using the report features under each category. I personally refine details for destinations I've visited.
- Luxvia's database-driven approach means information is generated once, human-verified, and always available. So if the community uses Luxvia, we can have less people asking AI chat bots for the information we have.
- It's not perfect, but it's a lot better than spending hours in a research spiral with over 20 tabs open.
If this saves you time before your next trip, I've done my job and I hope you can drop some feedback :)
Best,
Fran
